I'm going to answer this with another question or two.Is "enlightenment" a goal that one can safely say one has reached? If we cease learning we are for all practical purposes, dead, aren't we? And enlightenment depends on disciplined learning, doesn't it? There are many ways to learn and new knowledge may jar us out of our complacent assumption we are enlightened.

All paths that lead to enlightenment have the same Principal behind them and within us. It's the Principal of Life, and to activate the same one must be willing through every thing-event, even every thought or emotion, to continually confront, penetrate, understand, and by that understanding, resolve any attachment to or conflict with one's own ego-personality (selfhood). This is the true Way of the cross, of the living cross...and the living Principal, the Word (Christ Jesus), Is Within us and Is Us!

I think that there are many ways to enlightenment, life will offer you many different paths ones more difficult and complicated than others, ones that might look to you appealing, right, that make sense and others that might look absurd and that make no sense but there are still paths that life offers us to walk and get where we need or long to get in life.

"enlightenment" is not found down any path. it is something that you already have yet you are not aware of; a sensory organ you ignore; undiscovered eyes you have yet to gaze through.

confront what is real and distinguish it for what it is, not what we presently think it is.
