Sure. Why not? You seem like a nice guy, and any girl would be lucky to be with you. You don't need to go all out to impress someone. Just be yourself and you'll find people that like being with you.

Don't worry about what other people think, be true and good to yourself. When you know and love you, others can and will as well. Don't put too much into "friends" either, it's a very rare thing that you can trust somebody. You'll learn one day that your lucky to have a couple of true and good friends in your entire life. You'll have many, many acquaintances in your life though. Build a network of people that can help you get where your going, you don't have to be a socialite to achieve this, just be nice to people. Quiet people are usually observers, so you'll have the upper hand when figuring people out. Go to college, it's so very important! Keep your chin up young person:)

Hells yeah, a smart guy with artistic tendencies and dresses like an average person, nothing extravagant... that sounds like a likeable bloke if I ever met one! And girls in high school love guys who don't laugh at the word 'duty' whenever the teacher says it. Well, I stand corrected- There is an industry for such a guy, but personally... plus hes a new guy, a new story to hear, too!

love-bird, it's easy for the new guy to make friends, especially girl friends! Hey, you're the lonely stranger. You can ask where everything is located. You can put on those puppy-dog eyes and tell them you don't have any friends yet. But be sure to smile at the girls! It will do you well to talk to the girls one-on-one. "Hi, I'm Bird, and I'm new here. What's your name?"...."can you show me the ropes in this class?" Bring a roll of lifesavers, "hey, how about a candy? I'm Bird. And whom do I have the pleasure of talking to today?" You just have to be nice and approachable, that's all. Girls are scared too. But one-on-one is your best bet. Hope this helped; and Godloveya, New Guy!

as long as that guy is himself, and not trying to be shy and all just to get sympathy, it's okay. looks doesn't really have to matter, but of course we have to take in appearance and personality (esp. good attitude) as a major priority.
