An excellent question--you beat me to it. I wonder the same thing. I think it's because some people just want to say something critical or nasty. One person's stupid question gives another person a good laugh for the day. If they think it's a stupid question they should just shut their piehole, don't you think?

i love the questions that are asked here. for me they are the best. P&S is where i come to when i want to escape from reality. i don't think any of these questions are stupid, they are just what lies in everybodies inner inner 'ID' -unconscious. and its just lovely. ok, there can be some really really annoying questions, then all i do is just ignore them, because the rest is not bad at all.

Stupid is as stupid does. I just answer the questions I don't judge their merit. I think.

Dont worry, its not stupid..............but real stupid questions are fun to make stupid answers for.
for example
my pet rock likes eating kittens for supper, and broken glass on wednesdays! I once buried a pair of pliers in my backyard and it grew a plier tree, its right next to my stapler tree. Would you care for some freshly squeezed plier or stapler juice?

You are so right. If they think it is stupid they should ignore it. Apparently there was something there to attract them to the question. I think they are denying there own stupidity when they should embrace it, ha ha.

I don't think you ask stupid questions. You make me think before answering which is a noble trait in my eyes. Some people just think their s h i t don't stink!
