How come you can't seem to find any of the good oldies music, from the 50's and early 60's on the radio anymore?

They're still around, but in fewer markets. Radio today isn't BROADCASTING anymore....it's NARROWCASTING.
Program Directors now follow a rigid formula to determine formats, and although the demographic for "oldies" fans is affluent, it's also small. They're more likely to subscribe to XM or Sirius than try to find something on AM/FM.
Or they'll buy a 10 CD Oldies box set from Time-Life.
