I have a beautiful headdress and the feathers have become dusty over the years. Any ideas on how I could clean it? The feathers are white and I do not want to do anything that would hurt them or the headdress.

Contact a museum and see what they suggest or go to google and find an American Indian website(s) and ask there. I'm not sure what your headdress looks like- beaded? how old? what tribe? If you know the tribe, I'd contact that nation.

Is it real or store bought? spray mild soapy water on it and let dry. If it is real don't clean it. It's worth $
