Does anyone know what the playback channel is on the Direct TV DVR? When we had cable, it used to be channel 800. Now we don't know what channel it is.

I saw the program listed on my recorded programs, changed the channel and went back and it was gone. I had set up the program to be ready to play, then changed the channel. When I hit List again, it was gone. I did NOT tell it to delete.

not sure I understand your question. I record off the channel and playback on the same channel.

What do you mean by "Playback Channel". On DirectTV when I want to review what the unit has recorded, I click the "list" button and it will bring up a list of every program, movie, etc., that the unit has recorded.

If you click "Menu" on your remote, you should get an icon for your DVR, which you can select. Then, you should get the option of selecting "DVR Recordings."
