Man, the answer to this is on the tip of my tongue.... the Simpsons spoofed this a while back... Marge was the queen and she kept powdering her face with "lead based make-up" and getting dizzy right after.

It was Queen Elizabeth I, she used white lead based powder to cover scars from smallpox. It took awhile, but it eventually got to her.

i know it wasn't queen elizibeth she got her head chopped off it was king henery he thouht himself ugly so he wore white lead and vinigar as make up but he called it paler
