The Museum area. I biked their when I was a kid. You can also bike to the Herman Park Zoo from there and/or go to the Art Museum near the Warwick Hotel.

Pearland is turning out to be from a sleepy little city to a warm spot precise now with quite some new shape. Houston would not have a coastline and Galveston is 60 miles away. sparkling Lake has particularly some the reward of the two. The East facet, a community divided North and South with the aid of I-40 5, is the worst area. in basic terms north of I-10 to Beltway 8 is and area i does not stay in. The West facet consists of the villages of Memorial and River o.ok. that are called the two maximum presigeous areas. I stay in Piney element, a village of Memorial, and that's heavan with solid colleges, super plenty and outstanding properties. Sugarland and Katy are a good distance west, south and due west respectively, and are medium to sizeable properties with solid neighborhoods and procuring for much less money yet a greater robust go backward and forward to downtown. The Heights is closer to downtown and is blended yet very in precise now. you may seem there besides. Public colleges could be a probelm there. have exciting and welcome to Houston.

Memorial park between downtown and the galleria district has excellent trails. It's one of the best urban parks in the U.S.

About 50 miles north of Houston you will find the Sam Houston state forest, it has great trails and gorgeous scenery. Hilly, wooded terrain. Watch out for snakes though around the lakes and creeks.

If you mean mountain biking then check out the "Ho Chi Mon" trail in Memorial Park. At least that is what most of the locals call it. I went flying off my bike like super man down a hill stopping abuptly by a huge tree luckily hitting the L of my neck and Shoulder instead of my head the last time I went. It was great!

There are a ton of others though. Check out the link below- they have maps - and enjoy.
