For a class project, I have planned to shut off the class lights and turn on red-light bulbs throughout out the entire hour period. Do you think that it will hurt people's eyes staring at a light red room for over an hour?

UM NO. are you kidding? People stand in darkrooms for photography for hours. And lab researchers stand in labs with red lights for hours. When they come out of the room, everything will probably seem blue. But that will be temporary. You should test it out before hand because if its daytime, you might not even be able to tell. And please! Dont be such a wuss. Thats not dangerous. It sounds like it will be a good project good luck

No, I don't think it would do any harm to anybody, but if you get caught I'm sure that you will get into trouble. I think that it's a cool idea though. I wish that I had someone like you to do something like that in my school. Hope you don't get caught and good luck have fun.
