Take it from someone who has been married a long time,,,
Flirting lifts the spirits when low, brings a smile to the face and lets the imagination run wild... really good flirting is knowing how far to go without spoiling it.

Well said Tony! Hubby and I flirt with other people all the time. There's nothing like a little light flirting to get the blood racing. A long, appreciative glance as a very attractive stranger holds the door for you ("No, after YOU!"). A mild snip of suggestive dry humour added to an otherwise business-like conversation. A sideways grin or a wink at the stranger in the car next to you at the stoplight. It's all harmless and all in good fun. My husband and I both have agreed that this is indeed fun, and we would rather not cut it out of our personalities; after all, isn't this part of what we fell in love with in each other?? We both understand that it has no ill effects on our relationship. We have decided not to allow it to harm us.

Well there is flirting, which is great fun when you are married, because each of you knows this is going nowhere and you can just let loose and have fun with a person, with no boy/girl stuff clouding the picture. And then there is flirting, like, call me, which is rather destructive to your main relationship. Does that answer your question?

Yes I have flirted with other women, and my wife does know about it. At the time I didn't think anything of it, but I've had a real change of heart and am very ashamed of it that I flirted with other women, because my wife I feel is the most important woman in my life, and now she's the only woman that I should flirt with.

Sometimes I will flirt when someone pulls up beside me at a red light. I will wink my eye at them if I find them attractive.
I never pay attention if they are married or not, if I like them I flirt.
Flirting is healthy.

sure...there is nothing wrong with a little flirting but as long as that is all that it is...and he knows that i am in a totally committed relationship and that i am not going anywhere...there is nothing wrong with window shopping just as long as you dont touch the merchandise

I don't flirt period, but my husband is very socially outgoing bordering flirtatious. Tho he is harmless, he tells me all the little comments he mkes and we laugh about it. I trust him completely, that's just his personality.
