It's a good idea to go talk to a counselor or therapist & keep searching for what you need. I would try a support group as well.

Honey...Shh...Take a deep breath...One of my relatives is bipolar so I can somewhat understand what you're going through, not personally of course, I'm not bipolar, but from what I've observed in my relative. What you need to do is talk to a counselor (if you already are talking to a counselor then tell them this) and tell them that you are really having some issues with your anger and sometime wanting to die or kill someone. You don't want to pose a threat to yourself or others. You'll be all right, honey, you'll make it through. Talk to your doctor about these feelings as well. Sometimes it may take a while to find the medication that's just right for you. A lot of people vary and not very much is known about bipolar yet. It seems as though you do have bipolar, I'm not saying this is a for sure thing, but it appears as if you do. It's okay, you're not the only one. I would suggest joining a support group, maybe a bipolar support group as this can really help you out. Good luck and best wishes to you. This advice is coming straight from my heart, so don't be afraid to listen to my advice. I wish you the best! :) You'll be okay.

If the signs say you're bipolar, and the doc says you're bipolar, then you probably are. The anger doesn't exclude bipolar at all - anger and rage is very common in bipolars, but for some reason it never seems to make it to the DSM-IV definitions. The meds will help - Tegretol and Trileptal are very good with anger.

I think you need to get to the real problem as well as taking pills ,you have a problem with anger ,why? you need to get help to work it out and put it behind you ,that will not be easy but it will happen if you want it to .there are no easy answers but there is hope ,if you can resolve your anger issues then the rest of your life will improve with it ,it is imposable to have a happy relationship like this but you can change that ,talk to your doctor about seeing someone..good luck and hang in there it is worth it .
