It not only tells you what paper work you will need but the fees
($97 over 16 yrs old & $82 under 16 yrs of age). It has a link to put in your zip code & it will tell you where you can go to get passport processed.

Simple: Visit your local post office (main branch) and obtain an application. Fill it out. Go to a check cashing place, AAA office, etc and get a passport photo. Take the application back to the post office BUT make sure you have your birth certificate (which they will take) and the payment for the passport. (I think it's gone up to $80. It'll be on the application.) Wait a few weeks and the passport along with your birth certificate will arrive in the mail. Have fun overseas!

Go to the post office and get an application.

Then go to Kinkos and get 2 passport photos.

Then when you turn in your passport application, you have to take your ACTUAL birth certificate...can't be a copy. They will mail your birth certificate back with your pass port.

All and all it costs about $100.

Go to your local post office and ask. They can tell you where the closest place is that handles this. Usually now it is in the County Seat Courthouse.

You can apply at the post office. Call ahead first because they usually only do it on certain days.
