For a class project, I have planned to shut off the class lights and turn on red-light bulbs throughout out the entire hour period. Do you think that it will hurt people's eyes staring at a light red room for over an hour?

I don't believe this will cause any permanent physical harm to anyone but I also don't see any point to a project like that.

Well, yeah. You figure if you sit in a "red" room for more than an hour and then go back to a room that does not have red lights their eyes would be straining. I know I would have difficulty adjusting.

Might want to ask a science teacher or an eye doctor first.

No. But if someone does start hurting, just have them let you know.
