I think it's just a conspiracy to get people to waste quarters. Does anyone know how to beat the system? (And don't tell me to go buy the teddy bear instead. That's not the question.)

They're rigged to only give out prizes once every however-many times someone plays. It's a set number (unless they reprogrammed them), so just count how many times it's played between two people winning, and then hit it when it's time for it to give a prize.

look for something that is not wedged. pick before u put quarter in. have someone on the side, so you can get depth perception. when ur lined up and they're lined up, hit the button.
Don't get discouraged if you don't get it on the first try. It's a learning experience.
Above all, if you really want the teddy bear, go pay for it (i did not tell u to buy it; i told you to pay for it.)

You just have to position the crane in the right spot. After a couple of times its really easy.
