Why is my neighbor using a power saw 10:30 at night? Is he CRAZY?

No! He probably couldn't sleep or had a fight with his wife. My neighbor vacuums the floor at 5AM and the other neighbor is obsessed with his lawn - we call him Mr. Clean.

Nope. not crazy. When my husband and I were installing sprinklers, drains and landscaping in our yard, the only time he could work on the yard was late at night when he got home from his job. I would be outside holding a giant halogen light while he set retainer stones at 10:00 at night. You gotta do what you gotta do.

sounds like our neighbors, they play loud music all night and it's not even good music. I've called the police 3 times, but they never do anything.

It is disturbing for the neighbors, but probably that's the only time he could do it. But still, he shouldn't be doing it at that time of night.

MAYBE BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY TIME HE CAN USE IT. IF IT BOTHERS YOU . GO AND TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT. AND IF HE STILL WON'T STOP THEN I WOULD CALL THE POLICE. AND I ALSO WOULD TALK TO THE OTHER NEIGHBORS TO SEE IF THAT BOTHERS THEM . THE MORE PEOPLE YOU HAVE ON YOUR SIDE THE BETTER. THIS WAY HE CAN'T SAY HE'S NOT DOING IT AT THAT TIME OF NIGHT. YOU WILL HAVE PROOF THAT HE IS.

Many neighbors have no respect for others. Call the cops.
But know if you do that he will give you other trouble because you did call them, like have a friend knock down your mail box, etc.
It's happened to me.
If he vandalizes your mailbox, call the post office, it's a federal crime. And they are more likely to investigate it.

Could be......I had one using a hammer drill at 11:45 pm on the weekend. Why holes need to be drilled into concrete at midnight i'll never know.

yes probably is crazy or just dumb, has no idea that he is bothering anyone.
Check with your local police station to see if there is a noise ordinance, we have one and he would be fined $100 for using his saw after 10pm or before 7am

Most areas of many countries have laws of public noise and if it reaches the legal limit you can phone the police.
