do walking sticks help the envoriment or doese it not and why?

Walking sticks are part of the environment. I assume you are talking about the insect that looks like a twig. Since they are part of the environment they are beneficial since they play their part in it.

I thought you meant the sticks people use to help them walk, in which case I would say that is detrimental to the environment as it involves the destruction of trees.
