Is there a solution for stray dogs problem other than killing them?

Try moth balls. My neighbor had dogs always walking around in her flower garden and she buried a couple of moth balls in the pine straw in her flower border around her house. And it worked !!
And plus moth balls are inexpensive and you can find them almost anywhere.

You don't kill them and you DON'T use a BB gun on them. Call your local animal control to catch them. Or call the local ASPCA. I would probably try to adopt one or two of them.

get an akita, other dogs, even rotweillers and pit bulls, are terrified of them. they are fiercely territorial, and loyal to good human companions to their death!

firecrackers loud noises if you are concerned about the poop save some i fallon milk jugs and but water and a little bleach in it and place them around your yard.
