Theres a family show from the 80's that had a character name Rog (as in Roger) it was a black family show and I can't name it..any help?

I think the show you are talking about was actually a 70s sitcom show called "Whats Happening" with characters of Rog, Rerun, Mamma, etc. Mamma was a widow raising Rog and his younger sister alone, trying to teach them good Christian values/morals..Maybe it ran till the 80s but I recall watching it in the 70s as a teen.

yep it had a spin off with the name rerun... Rog had a sister named Dee Dee and for the life of me I can't remeber what the name is! AHHHH
