a scavenger hunt as follows:
a note left for him to follow some specific directions.
come home
when open door follow petals
do not turn on lights, candles will light your way
short detour to tub
take a full body bath
after dry off, go into bedroom
do not dress, no clothes are needed
on the night stand will be various toys and edibles
lay on bed and close your eyes for a big surprise.
on cue, when eyes open, to his delight stands me
covered with whipped cream in designated places.
then i will say to him....................................
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND TONIGHT I WILL BE YOUR HO! HO! HO!

It depends on his age and your budget....
if you are rich enough... try to buy a big bike for him or a Rolex watch..... but if you are tightening your budget... a good tie will do or undies.... be creative.... its not the cost of the gift but the effort and the love you give to your BF....
