The reason I believe Randy will win is because he is the best coice to face John Cena at Wrestlemania because those two have never faced each other at a pay per veiw match and they would work well together and could very well become the next Austin-vs.-Rock. I think Randy Orton will win at Wrestlemania. Also, another reason I think Randy will win the Royal Rumble is because the other legitamate contenders to win all have reasons why they wont. I will list them:
John Cena: Not likely to lose his title before the Royal Rumble.
Umaga: Likely to be Cena's opponent for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble so he is out.
Batista: Obvious reason.
Triple H: I doubt they will give it to someone who already won. Plus, he really needs to go a while longer without the Title.
Carlito: Not being promoted well enough to be the winner. Plus, he needs to stay in the IC division a while longer.
Johnny Nitro: See Carlito
Shelton Benjamin: See Carlito
Bobby Lashley: Likely to win the ECW Title

RVD: I doubt any ECW wrestler will win because I doubt the WWE will have the ECW Title match as the main event.
Chris Benoit: Although I would like to see it I doubt that they want someone who already won to win again.
Ken Kennedy: Not ready just yet.
The only ones who might be in contention with Orton would be Jeff Hardy or Edge, but I still see Orton winning. Plus it has been rumored that he is supposed to get the WWE Title soon.

I gotta say you put up a lot of good points. By the way you put it Orton is a very good choice for the main event. Orton has been without the title for a long time and might be back on the rise for it. Here's a couple things though...
- Orton became very cocky back stage when he won the title last time and McMahon will be hesitant to push him again.
- Cena main evented Mania last year. Does he main event again just because of his popularity?
- Kane and Undertaker are both looking to retire shortly after Mania if not at Mania. Does the WWE do something for them? Kane only held the title for a day...
- The last 7 out of 8 Rumbles have been won by someone who had never won it before. Why can't they let someone like Michaels or HHH win?
- Cena, Umaga, Batista, Carlito, Nitro, Benjamin, Lashley, RVD, and Benoit I agree with you why they won't win. I know Hardy is not going to win it. And even though I think Kennedy has just a little twieking in his game before he goes up, McMahon is a big fan of Kennedy and wants to push him hard. I could see Kennedy vs. Batista or even Kennedy vs. Cena.
I'm gonna take the stretch and go with Kennedy but Orton will take a close second.

Batista turns heal, because, he has too. Boring as a face, plus he's not a great in ring worker, so heel style works better for him. Benoit wants to leave, so to retain talent, Benoit wins the Rumbe at the shot at Mania. Will probably win too, because BAtista is due to tear a ligament off a bone.
