I heard that a lot of Acting jobs are in Canada nowadays and a lot of the acting jobs have gone away. Denise Richards was recently filming in Canada and Deck the Halls Movie was filmed in Canada.

I'm not moving to Canada and So should I even continue my plans to move to Los Angeles to pursue acting?

There is still work here, but not the high percentage that used to be. And there are still thousands of actors waiting tables all over town. Good luck!

Audition for commercials where you live.

Often local television have an ad agency produce local commercials. Call the TV stations and ask the names of the ad agencies that produce their local commercials. Call the Advertising Agencies and tell the person that answers the phone you want to find out how you would audition for commercials.
