Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

I think you should go for the medicine. Yeast infections suck and won't go away without treatment.
If you insist on not taking medication, you should eat lots and lots and lots of yogurt.

I had splendid results using a garlic douche. It got rid of the yeast infection with a couple applications, and instantly neutralized the itch (upon contact).
I peeled several cloves of garlic (6 or more), put them in the blender with warm water, then strained all that through cheesecloth. Put the liquid in your douche bottle and you're good to go.

Natural yoghurt applied directly to the problem area. It can be messy but worth a try
