Why should they have the death penalty? From what I've read in the newspaper articles, they hit a police officer with their car before they were shot at.
Hitting a police officer with a car + running away from other police officers = YOU GETTING SHOT AT.
Also even if they really didn't know that it was a cop that they hit with their car, they were still committing a hit and run. Which by the way is still breaking the law.
They got what they deserved.

Police are just there to help. They make mistakes. If you are unhappy with the police then make it your business to intercede for them during your daily devotions. Just wishing they would get the death penalty does nobody any good.

I guess since none of us were there, we should let the courts decide what should be done. Ever heard 'innocent until proven guilty'?
Edit - If they did shoot an unarmed man, they should recieve the maximum penalty because they are supposed to protect the public.

Nobody knows what happened, because we were not there.
Where I live near, LA more cops get killed with young children, a lot more than criminals.
Just because the guy was getting married, doesn't mean he was a saint; a lot of criminals get married.
SO I GUESS IF THERE IS A CRIMINAL, OF COLOR, HISPANIC, OR SOME OTHER IMMIGRANT, WE SHOULD LET THEM DO WHATEVER THEY WANT......OH WHAT A SORRY WORLD.
WHY IS EVERYBODY NOWADAYS SO EAGER TO JUMP TO THE CRIMINALS SIDE....ARE WE ALL GOING INSANE.....

i'm from a small town and cant even under stand how something like that could happen.... i agree with you, it could have been someone like me and my friends just out for a good time and not knowing that there are trigger happy cops out there.....shoot then question....what pigs

Well, since the victim was a person of color nothing will probably happen to the cops....reality check.
