I was wondering what you thought about me buying them both something nice from Tiffanies. I don't know, like a nice bracelet, necklace, or ring, or whatever. I'm pretty good at picking things out in this capacity and if they don't like it, there will be a gift receipt for them, of course. I was just wondering if it would be too much coming from a brother and if I could and should spend my time and money on finding something more suitable from a sibling. I just love 'em lots and want them to like what I get them.

Yes, we are close--yes, they have stuff from Tiffanies-- and yes, I know the type of jewlery you are talking about Scarlett.

J Love, what a sweet thing to do for your sisters! I think this is a great way for you to show them that they are very special to you, and that you admire and appreciate them immensely. As for jewelry, I think bracelets would be a great idea, and you can even have them personalized. My younger sister and brother did this for me one year and I will treasure it always. :-)

Wow, J Love - you are fabulous to think of your sisters with such a nice gift.

So, the thing is you don't want to outdo the boyfriend or husband; that's the only thing to really worry about. If they have a significant other who has not given them such a spectacular gift, your gift will certainly make them look...um, not so cool. :) But then again, some guys are cool and will be okay with a gift like that coming from the brother. You know your family best on this angle - so just think of that. Otherwise, you rock!

I have two brothers living and they would only give something like that to a spouse. My son gave me a beautiful gold dolphin ring just for the heck of it once - it really touched me. So I know a nice bracelet would make your sisters appreciate you so much! It's a great idea and would make a great gift! Ooooh....a cute little blue bag from Tiffany's....awesome!

I say yes, go with the jewelry from Tiffany's. It will be something sentimental that they can pass on to their daughters. You make me wish I had a brother. I got stuck with 3 OLDER sisters. Maybe I'll get my son to read this and give him an idea for his sisters. You must be a very special guy.

Jewelry is great. Just make sure that it is a pendant, earrings or tennis bracelet. Don't by any kind of jewelry that you would by for a girlfriend. The salesperson should be able to guide you

i think you probably have impeccable taste, you are classy enough to know exactly what is appropriate...and you are close enough to your sisters to know what they would love...so no worries...it's a perfect gift...

you are obviously proud of them...they must be special girls, and i think your idea will let them know just how much you care. My younger brother is my best friend..and to be loved like that by someone other than your children/ spouse/ or parent, is unbelievable!

Best of luck ;)

Pearl earrings are always nice and they go with everything.
Just nice and simple. Like pearl studs. Opals are also very
nice

Why not have matching necklaces made with you and your sister's birthstones (all the sibling's birthstones) in it? It's personal and it will be something they will want to keep forever.

Wow, you sound like a great brother! I wish you were my brother. Your sisters are lucky and if they like jewelry and you know their tastes...go right on ahead.
