I have a couple of questions with this one. First is it possible to leak colostrum too much to the point that my milk will come in? and if that happends before the baby is born will my milk dry up if i dont do anything with it? Also my mother just recently had a baby (she will be 3 weeks tomorrow) is it possible that my breasts are leaking because of her? My mother was explaining the whole thing where a breast feeding mother lets down when their baby cries. is it possible that my body could be confusing her for my own and thats why i started leaking?

I began leaking when I was only 4 months pregnant. That sucked big time. I still had plenty of milk when my son was born, even though i didn't breast feed. I wouldn't worry about it drying up, because your body will keep producing it. Good luck with everything.

I started lactating at about 4 months and I still leak even now whenever I hear another baby cry. I don't know what the medical condition is but I have heard that it is very normal for you to do this.

You don't have milk coming in unless you have been breastfeeding because that's what tells your body to create the milk. As strange as it sounds its normal!! The closer I have gotten to the end of my pregnancy my leaking has increased especially around crying babies or whenever I put any pressure on them.

I started leaking at about 20 weeks. My doctor told me it was totally normal. Your milk won't come in until about 2-3 days after the baby is born.

I was leaking for a long time before hand as well. I asked the doc and her advice was that it was totally normal and fine. No worries.
