SCORCHING HOT! I'm exaggerating, of course. Seriously, it seldom rains in Davao and the weather is always sunny and humid. But it gets even hotter during the summer which is from March to May.

I am a long time resident of Davao City, so this is going to be very easy for me.
It's summertime in March here in Davao City; and I must tell you, Boy!, it can get so swelteringly hot-hot-hot during this time of the year!!! In March, the weather usually is: clear blue skies, thick clouds around the Mount Apo, searing heat by mid-morning until mid-afternoon, humid winds by late afternoon, balmy to cool winds by night. Davao is a hilly place; so those whose residences are located on the hills of Davao (like mine's!) experience much cooler winds, especially at night time.
But, this is usually the kind of weather we have all throughout the year here in Davao. The winds just become more breezy during the "BER" months (you know, SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER, and DecemBER!)! But, most of the time, usually, this is our type of weather throughout the year.
It is also in March when we celebrate our "Araw ng Dabaw" (The Day of Davao). A festival celebrating the day Davao was charted as a City. Thousands of people come here to watch our parades under the scorching heat of the Southern sun. So, you better bring your parasol, or wear a very wide-brimmed straw hat!
And I must proudly add: No typhoons have ever visited this place in the Philippines. No, None and Never.

Davao is a nice place. Although it's sunny, at night, it's cooler. The fruits and vegetables are fresh as well as the air. It's pollution free. Actually, I love to live there.... No social pressures and the food is very cheap.
But then, be sure to bring with you mosquito repellent. Have a nice trip and GOD BLESS YOU.
