How can i convert a negative decimal value to hexadecimal?

I don't see why the sign should matter; just add it back at the end.

3056 Decimal

Divide by 16 - no remainder - 191
Divide by 16 - remainder 15 - 11
Divide by 16 - remainder 11 - 0

So, 3056 in hex is BF0

Basically keep dividing by 16 until the number is 0. Then take the remainders and create the number.
