My cousin had a banana bike, and we rode double and we used her feet as training wheels.. She taught me how to ride, and we had alot of fun. Thanks! I am sitting here chuckling about it, and that was almost 40 years ago.

I taught myself as my 21st birthday present to myself.
Where I grew up my mom didn't want to buy me a bike in fear it would just end up being stolen. I always wanted to learn so when I turned 21 a borrowed a bike. Found and empty parking lot and kept at it until I finally could ride it.

my dad taught me to ride in a parking lot across the street from where i lived. he also taught me how to drive - my mom was too scared!

My father,he would run with me and then not tell me when he was letting go of the bike and then I would see him standing there and
smiling , then I would fall instead of peddaling my bike. My father
also taught me how to ice skate, sled , tried skiing , rode horses
swim and when I got older tried to teach me how to drive. My
mother finally paid a instructor to teach me to drive .

My brothers, we lived on a hill and they put me on the bike and I went down the hill and over the railroad tracks and @ss over tea kettle over a fence and bruised the inside of my legs and my private area. Mom came flying down the hill (running) and picked me up to see if I was okay. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY AS LONG AS I LIVE!! And that was 50 years ago. lol

I think everyone tried to teach me. Especially my Mom and one of my aunts. One day I just figured it out by myself. I tend to learn a lot of things that way come to think of it....
