I know they are not the same type of music but they are both good, Trent and Maynard ar both amazing, so where does your vote go?

Wow, finally a good question in Music.
I think when it comes to straight-out musical genius I'd go with Maynard but Trent has pushed the boundaries of the genre since the eighties. But Maynard never jumped the shark, and "With Teeth" showed Trent's age. I'm going with Tool.

both are great music acts. both do not get enough credit for the amazinf work they do. personally i like tool more, as i am way more familiar with them. but i dont see why we must 'battle' them! they own every other band talked about here in the music section
