I'm 21 weeks and I haven't felt the baby yet. Don't worry, different babies respond differently to both outside influences (light, sound, the mother's daily activity) as well as internal developement (nutritional, the mother's weight, the mother's over-all health, even the position in which the mother sleeps) so if you were 30 lbs. or so overweight before you concieved or you move around excessively during the day, chances are you won't recognize the baby moving until at least 22 weeks.. Many people make the mistake thinking that what's written in books and on pregnancy websites is entirely accurate; what's considered the "normal" developement timeline isn't actually normal at all. If by 25 weeks, you haven't felt anything, call your doctor and have him/her do a fetal heart monitor and an ultrasound to dectect the heart and movement of the baby.

If you feel that it should be kicking and it not go to your doctor. My children started kicking a different stages in my pregnancy. My boys started about 3 months and my daughter started later somewhere after the 24th week, but she is fine. Just try and be patient the baby will kick and then it won't want to stop. But I actually enjoyed when my children were kicking. I was usually when there Father had his hand on my stomach. It was almost like they were saying you"ve done enough damage get away. Time cures all.

I felt my 2nd baby move earlier than the 1st...maybe because I knew what I was feeling?
When one of my little ones didn't kick for awhile and I was worried, I would sort of put my tummy on the table and drop my keys on the table! It sounds mean, but it worked! I found it out quite by accident one day, but it works like a charm to get the baby to wake up and start kicking! :)
best wishes!
p.s. If you are worried, call your OB right away and see if they can get you in for an ultrasound. It's not good for you to be worried.

Don't worry. I didn't feel my child kicking until I was 6 months. As long as the doctor can hear a heartbeat then everything should be okay. If still concerned ask the doctor to hear the babies heartbeat. You should be getting a sonogram soon. You'll be able to see him or her kicking or moving. Hope this helps!

I felt mine at 11 weeks, I haven't felt a really good strong kick yet, just little tickly ones. I have twins though and so they are easier to feel. I am 20 weeks right now.

I felt my son move at 14 weeks. I didn't feel distinct kicks until 20 weeks. Problally should run it past doctor. They can do an ultrasound to check in on things.

with my first it was 17-18 weeks and my second it was 14-15 weeks....usually they say the more you have the sooner you feel movements because you can recognize them.....i call you doctor or ask at the next app. also if you are overweight they say it may take a little longer to feel movement.....but i would say you should be feeling something with in the next week or two if not definatly talk to your doctor just to be safe.
