We could only wish!!!! Sometimes the wounds are just so deep that they leave a painful scar that just digs deeper and deeper through the years....

Friend - Time lessens wounds to the point we can move on in spite of them. The thing is, when we are hurting we do not believe this so its useless to tell us. It is only after the pain has lessened that we can see that time did indeed help. GB

I broke up with a guy 18 years ago because my parents insisted. I am still in love with him though we are both married to others. Time did not heal this one.

I think it does. It's hard to say exactly how long you will need to heal, that depends on the situation. You may need weeks, months or sometimes even years but I think time definitely helps. I think that the saying "if it don't kill you it makes you stronger" is true,

No. It doesn't. Time does lessen the pain of those wounds but there will always be scars that hurt if you push on them

No, if the wound is too deep especially if it's cut by the one you loved so much.
