If your teammate is that selfish, I doubt that he/she passes the ball to anybody. If so, there isn't much you can do. Talk to your other teammates about it, talk to your coach, and confront him/her. Remember that basketball is a team sport and most importantly, have fun!!

Practice practice practice you're skills to the point where you're just as good or better than your teammate. Three things could happen. 1) She'll gain confidence in your ability to help the team and her win and she'll pass you the ball. 2) The coach will take more control and tell her to pass the ball to you more b/c you're good 3) The coach and the girl will ignore your ability. If this happens, there's nothing you can do.
I did see on video once a girl steal the ball from her own teammate.

You definitely don't want the ball ALL the time....the quickest way to a losing season AND you being the focus of the blame. As far as this teammate not passing you the ball....I would first ask myself.....am I able to finish??? If and when the ball is passed to me do I turn it over....or do I do something productive to help the team??? If the answer is yes....then talk with your coach about being more involved offensively...show him and your team in practice that they can depend on YOU......if the answer is no....then youv'e got work to do.....improve in practice...if you want quicker results, then improve outside of regular practice...earn your coaches and fellow teammates respect on the court. Another reason it's good to talk with your coach is because this teammate.....or should I say I-mate...me-mate...not we or us-mate....that doesn't pass the pill...COULD BE BY DESIGN.....I'm sure you've heard of teachers pet.....well it doesn't always apply to the classroom.

Get better at the game, try to talk to the other players but in a nice way a split team is never good. Why should YOU get the ball what about your teammates Shut that player out of the game talk to your coach about it there are many things you could do but picking the right way can be hard.

You can't ALWAYS get the ball passed to you but in any way, if you do have a chance to receive the ball then show to your teammate by scoring or assisting and proving that you are worth passing to.No offence, but if you're just plain bad then your teammates will obviously choose someone over you to pas to.

It sounds like you have Kobe Bryant on your team.
Seriously though, if you and the other 3 people on the floor freeze him out and dont pass him the ball maybe hell get the point.
