I know a lot of people have issues with this but think of it this way.... Would you drop your kid off in downtown Las Vegas and leave them alone for fear of invading their privacy? Believe me, the internet is a lot worse than Vegas will ever be.

You better be watching them children don't need privacy until they get old enough to get a education,a job and move out of your house. And then if they move back in then you get back into there privacy or business or what ever. This is from a father may be a mother is not the same.I have had a hand in raising 3 all great adults now. They have blessed me and my wife with 4 grandchildren and I am still in there privacy.

A bit of both. Our computer is in the lounge room and when my children are on the computer I glance over every so often to see where they are surfing. I am not at their shoulder 24/7 so yeah I give them their privacy as well.

I make my pressence known from time to time and I will go in and look and see what they were upto later on after they're in bed. You can never, ever be TOO SAFE in this day and age! People are NUTS!!! All you have to do is just turn on the news and see how often they mention something involving a teen or a young child and the internet! UGH! It's horrifying!

I tell my Mom everything I go to. But heres my advice since I know alot. Don't trust your children on myspace, I've been there and seen alot of bad stuff. I would watch where they go and everything, the internet is so full with bad stuff.
