You still have to be a father to this child out of wedlock, this child did not ask for all of this, and neither did your children with your wife. Your wife and you need to take classes on how to be good parents in a blended family and most of all, how to be good partner in life for each other.

If he has a concience he will try to right his wrong doing, but as Old Marble said if you cheated with him on his first wife ( not saying you did only if ? ) you know what they say about that big wheel turning. If that is not the case l apologise. In which case you need to decide how much you love this guy and whether you can forgive him.

Sorry to say this, but in my own personal experience -- the ONLY time that the louse of an ex-husband comes back is when he WANTS something -- money, to stalk, to damage property or steal something -- or for some reason he sees a benefit from returning to traumatize the mother of the children once again.

Men that cheat are known to come crawling back, crying and whining and blubbering of how they'll never cheat again, blah blah blah. The worst mistake a woman can make is to believe them and let them right back in.

It sounds like you already have plans to take him back --- don't do anything unless he's actually working on his issues and in counseling and wants you to join him. Other wise he's just coming back to avoid paying child support for the baby he had with you
