it is not a dome. Most of the fans are covered by roofs, but the field itself is open to the elements.

You're thinking of Safeco Field, the home of the Seattle Mariners, which is located across the street. Quest field does not, so our fabolous boys in blue and green are stuck playing in the snow.

Seattle only has a stadium, it isnt a dome so no it cant close or retract.
