Don't panic, worst case: labor is imminent, best case: you still got two weeks to go.
But pack your bag and stand by. Don't forget snacks, loose change and buy the car seat immediately. Then relax.
Okay, if it was a few spots and is not reoccurring you probably have some breathing room. Just call the advice nurse at your OB/GYN or at the hospital you are going to deliver at if you are concerned, they will want some particulars and will give you their recommendations. In my case after 2 "drive-by" deliveries, less than 2 hours active labor, if I decide to have a third, my doctor has threatened to admit me for less reasons.

It's more than normal,it's to be expected. If it gets worse, then you might want to call the doctor, but that's how my doctor got my labor going. She did the exam, stripped my membranes a little, and boy did I bleed.I mean, not profusely, but when you go all that time without bleeding...

Anyway,it's normal. You might have some cramping, too.I didn't bleed after exams with my first one,but I did every time with my second.Don't worry.

yes, it is very normal. I can't remember what the doctors told me every time I had a pelvic throughout my three pregnancies but they did say it was very normal to spot after the exam. You have nothing to worry about.

It sounds like your describing the mucus plug. This comes out before you go into labor. For me it was over several days. To be on the safe side ask your doctor tomorrow.
