It all depends on your hormones. I tested a week before my period was due, it came back positive. I used a test from the dollar store. I went to the doctor the next day and had blood work and it indicated I was only 10 days pregnant. Go to your doctor. You may be able to go to your local health dept and have one done for free, and they give you birth control pills and condoms if you aren't. Good luck with everything.

Usually yes, but there are some tests that can give you a positive result as early as 5 days, but they are not always accurate either. It all depends on how long it takes the embryo to attach to the uterus and start producing the HCG which is what makes a test positive. It can take anywhere from 6 to 12 days on average for that to happen. So if the embryo doesnt attach until day 12, that is 2 days before a period normally. So the early test would do you no good in that instance.

It is better to wait 2 weeks after your missed period so if you are pregnant the hormone HGC can build up and is easily detectable, it is possible to test the day your period is due but its very common to get a false negative at the early stages. Home pregnancy tests detect the amount of HGC in your urine, as soon as a pregnancy is developed the hormone HGC starts to be produced, it gets higher the more pregnant you are, Waiting 2 weeks after your missed period as you would only be approximately 4 weeks after conception. It also can help waiting in cause your period is just delayed. You can do a test at anytime, but make sure its early morning as the hormone is at its highest. Good luck and best wishes.

For most pregnancy tests you have to wait to test until your period is due. If you go to the doctor they can give you a blood pregnancy test that is not only more accurate but can be tested sooner. With First Response you can test as early as 5 days before your period is due.

No. Usually 5 days before a period or anytime after a period can tell you. You can get a home pregnancy test at Walgreens for $10.00.

I think that the new home pregnancy tests predict pregnancy much earlier than 2 weeks.

If this just happened you need to either treat it as you are & take the right steps to prepare yourself & your body, vitamins,
Or call planned parenthood- they can get you the plan b pill, or
You can get the plan b pill now over the counter- but i think you have to be 18.
Good luck.
