I know a girl named Tamika. Hers has an odd spelling, Timinka.
She's not ghetto and she's really pretty. I like it.

By the looks of your avatar, you are white. Tamika is not a caucasian name; it is more an African-American name. I would never ever call my white child Tamika. Ever.

I dont care for it either, but who really cares what they message board thinks..... its your baby. Name her something that you like.......Tamara is very pretty and close to Tamika..... I prefer it pronounced Tam A Ra like Tamara Braun.

It is kind of pretty. People might shorten it to Tam or Mika. what about Tamara (not pronounced ta-maaara but tam-era) That is my mom's name and I think that it is pretty. You could then call her tam or tammy.
