What was the mentality behind shows such as Full House? every one of those episodes just makes me wanna retch

It's because they were stricter on what they would do and say on television back then. Everyshow portrayed a moral that you were supposed to get at the end.

some people just want a simple laugh. Like in the 50's I Love Lucy was the favorite show and now it is a classic

They did it because it made money. In real life most of the Full House cast were at the time or later became drug addicts, criminals, deviants, etc.

I like it. Those where happier times. Kids were funny but they were not rude and still knew that the adults were in charge. Everything works out in the end...how can you not get behind that?
