Or...you crave it but cannot obtain it no matter how hard you try because there is always something in the way, some obstacle that limits your abilities to get your ultimate desire?
I am a wonderful writer. I can really pull a tear jerking story out of thin air or make a person laugh from a simple pair of words, but my responsibilities limit me from taking the time to use my gift for what I desire...to be a full time author.
So, I feel destined to be content for now, writing when I can here and there, while I take care of my beautiful teens who absolutely drive me insane. Their dad passed away a few years back, so he can't help me and grandpa took all of their inheritance money because of a loophole in the trust. I could actually write a wonderful story about my lives adventures in several books. When I have time...when the kids are in college or out of the house on their own.
Yet, I feel some obstacle will always be in the way. Somewhere waiting to happen.

Moreso when I was in my late teens than these days - but yeah I think it is a natural sensation and drives us to get out there and interact with people/make adrenaline stimulating decisions/etc etc...
I felt like this about 6 months ago -- day to day life just lacked the kick I was after and it made my joints burn with a desire to do something ....
I ended up going scuba diving with a mate and now we dive most weekends. The serenity of being weightless in the beautiful underwater realm really calms me down and gives me a break from the sense of craving something.
Stay away from drugs they only make the craving worse..
Personally I highly recommend water therapy (scuba diving/free diving) as it is just so soulful and peaceful.
Good luck my man!

I've felt things like that. Now I realize that humans have no connection with any mystical realm, there's no "destiny", you are simply restless. Try some different things, go running, biking, learn an instrument, martial arts, language, whatever. You may not find your dream, but you will sure have fun figuring it out. And you'll be a well-rounded person as an adult.

Days go by when I have lost my head
It puts me in a restless slumber
The days roll by, the nights are fast
The future's meaning has gone asunder
For there is more than can be known
By quick to think and those just born
When time comes finally for your fate
You'll reach your mind's eye's ocean shore
No one has but one
final destination
But fun you have with those you love
Depicts a future so not grim...

Yes, it is called PEACE.
It is to be in a state of calmness, serenity, peace and love.
To be at one with the universe.
To be part of nature.
To forget myself and to be absorbed into life........
It's cool. But doesn't happen very often.
Sometimes I think I should go into the jungle by myself and live there alone. Just be in nature, surrounded by wild animals, and green, rain and sky, earth and birds, sounds and smells.
it really appeals to me, to live like that, my heart desires it.
But I will never do it.
I think when I die, that's what it will be like, and I will be at peace, in nature as I was intended to be, without all this modern day chaos.

I don't care who thinks what! God is the answer to all my problems. He personal, and cares about me. It's not about religion. Boring! It's about a loving relationship.
Life is far from perfect, but I'm happy. No boyfriend, paycheck, or anything else could fill my heart like this.
Email me to talk more if you want.
Merry Christmas,
Mel

what you crave is the Truth. Nothing holds value or meaning without Truth.First find the reason for all things you do.

ya.. but if we were truely satisfied, we wouldnt do ANYTHING.. we would have no drive.
that empty pit unfortunately is what drives us.
why do you think most stoners dont do much? cuz that pit is filled just a tad bit more than other people.

I do!! I keep chasing it and keep dumping material things into a bottomless pit, but nothing seems to help. I thought I was the only one.

I think that spelling words right like "unquenchable" would be a step in the right direction...
But really, I do feel that sometimes. Why?
