Bones and Jericho I think might suit you (they are the shows I watch and I enjoy Prison Break). Bones is on Fox on Wednesdays, and Jericho is on at the exact same time as Bones, but on CBS. You can check either show out on itunes if you want though.

How about that new show "Kidnapped". Filmed just like 24. A short period of time strung out in a series of episodes. A couples kid gets kidnapped and they are trying to get him back.
Or how about "The 9" or "Heros"

I watch Lost religiously, one of the best shows, but the hardest to get into without seeing the first episodes.

i love both those shows and i also like lost - its similar in levels of intrigue and also some action. all three keep you guessing and thats what i love about them. id recommend getting the first two seasons on dvd instead of just jumping in so you know whats going on.
