if you dont, why do you teach your children to believe in santa claus- and for them to learn the lie when they grow up, as you did?

I don't. I don't teach my children about Santa. I tell them i am responsible for all the nice pressies. : )

Oh course I do...and I enjoyed my children believing in Santa as well, there is too little magic in this world to take Santa away...all kids figure it out for themselves...I remember being a little disappointed...but I would not trade my memories of Santa for anything...and if you have children and one day, grand-children, you will spend more years of your life with Santa than without!!!

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus! And I have never EVER in all my years of doing transcription for psychiatrists, psychologists, CD counselors, etc., heard of one single person blaming being lied to about Santa for their issues.

I'm 13 and I don't believe in Santa Clause. obviously, I don't have children, but I would tell my children that there was a Santa cuz it's fun to believe in if you're a kid and you tell them when they are mature enough to handlle it. I asked about it when I was 10 and my parents told me. I had been suspecting for a long time and I kept trying to believe in him, but I knew that he wasn't real
