My favourite is 'Reaper Man' by Terry Pratchett. It is one of his earlier Discworld books and is hilarious throughout. My favourite part though, is DEATH'S conversation with a six or seven year old little girl. Her attention span is about three seconds long, and part of the conversation goes a little like this:
"I've got new socks" she said.
THAT'S NICE
"My mummy knitted them out of sheep."
The above conversation is copyright of Terry Pratchett, just in case it is word for word. I don't think it is, but you never know!!

thats a hard one...its like asking a person "what was your favourite breath?" so many to choose from and all so different and wonderful in their own rights...sorry i dont have an answer other than "my favourite book would be old and have that wonderful cinnamony smell that only comes from time and temperance"

Very rarely read a book more than once, but I'll go for Lord of the Rings. Haven't read it in years though.
