The GOP does take away a lot of US freedoms but it's not even close to as bad as what happens with the Mullahs in Iran. Could it get as bad as Iran? I hope not but you never know.

Not all repubs think that. Dont model Bush as your repub model, i just saw a question from a crazy women from algeria saying how all americans are stupid, and she basicly answerd her own question, but like most europeans she just had to attack us, (she wouldnt of brough it up in the first place if she wasnt so jealous of everything we have) anywho, my point is she said literaly not basicaly that the majority of americans are stupid like Bush, (even though he isnt, obviously he was educated, no matter how your political view are) Thats what makes me even more angry people coming to conclusions about our people, b/c of our presy, although this did happen to when Clinton was the president. Oh wait, i forgot...most countries are socialist so it doesnt matter.
AND NO! how dare you be so inconsiderate as to accuse rebups of wanting Iran to be america...and you know what, if a rebub were to ask that question except put liberals: instead of conservitives: all of you liberals would be so pist off, and be like "those damn conservitives think they own the world" and when we say that stuff to you, you just laugh it off like, wow there just trying to gain more power. Iran is our enemy.
The Republican party represents about half the US. How can it be YOUR enemy too? That is so shallow when the world is at a point of no return and you insist on wallowing in the mud with your not-so-different countrymen.

i believe it was a democrat that aloud that to happen...Carter...beside we are not looking for that...but why do you want to tear down everything that says God on it...where is the respect for our forefathers, our heritage...i don't care who is or isn't a christian, but why tear out Christianity from our past when it has made us a free country..."all men are created equal" not evolved equal...besides i think it is the government america doesn't like not its people...

Never really thought of it that way. I think Iran is much more free that the U.S. is, I am glad I am in Turkey and can see how plagued America is with propaganda.
