In the market - I am leaning towards XM - I think it may have a better reception (more portable)

If you're a football or racing fan...with Sirius having stolen Nascar broadcasting rights from XM, Sirius is your way to go. IF you just want the music..then go with XM. The sound quality on XM is miles ahead of what Sirius is sending it's customers..not to mention XM did invest money in setting up terrestial repeaters to cover some gaps in satellite coverage. I cannot say the same about Sirius, but i've heard complaints in urban cities.
