For all those arguing on behalf of Brady Quinn, check out his stats against Michigan and USC?

Notre Dame vs. Michigan, Quinn attempted 48 and completed 24, and had 3 interceptions.

Notre Dame vs. USC, Quinn attempted 45, completed 22, no interceptions that game.

You may be a ND fan but I watch the games too. he also has WR that make incredible plays and great catches with those drops. Quinn didnt' make an incredible catch and run on the winning drive against UCLA; it was Jeff Samardzija, that took a short pass and made an incredible run for a winning TD.

Michigan blitzed almost every other play and they realized with a rush, Quinn can't evade it and he also makes ill advised passes. Michigan should have had 5 interceptions.

ND was really never in the game with USC. You never got the feeling they were going to win.

ND usually has a very hard schedule but this year the teams that are normally good were way down. Their schedule ended up being much easier than expected.

Brady Quinn is another bi product of the ND money backed PR machine. I would rather have Troy Smith; but Smith is pretty short so I'd rather pick RB's Peterson or McFadden.

Brady Quinn did not lose the USC game....He does not have a defense that can play up to that level nor does he have wide receivers that consistently catch the ball with the exception of Jeff most of the time. Rhema dropped how many touchdowns in that game and how many 4th down plays?...Quinn will be far better than Smith in the draft as well. Smith played on a better overall team but will not be an NFL qb. He is not that good. Smith wins the Heisman, but Brady wins the Super Bowls!!!

um to the above post, do you watch the games? About 98% of the time the problem is not Quinn. His WR's always drop passes, and the line is horrible. hmm lets look at his season stats: 35 passing TD's, 2 rushing TD's, 3278 passing yards, 5 INT, 273.2 yards per game, 274/432. and that's a horrible QB??

By the way, he lost both games badly. How about tallying up sacks, hurries and pressures.

Yeah, well, he still looks like a better pro prospect than that Ohio State QB.......
