is the scoring player 'dragging' the 73 newton defender? then the defender is a frictional load NOT a horizontal load
ALSO remeber what is dynamic and what is static?
Which is acceleration and which is velocity
That always give me the hardest part of these questions

A 42 N force pulling from the right.
A 73 N force from the left.

The vertical forces cancel out, so they are negligible.
