My friends used to think he just wanted to be my friend, but we don't have too much in common, and when he contacts me via aim, he uses very random ways to strike conversation. In summary, he has approached me in all the same ways straight men interested in me sexually have pursued me, yet he has not once called me "hot" or "sexy" or hinted at that. Also, it has surprised a lot of people that he is gay because he does not come across that way (though, I am too smart to stereotype.) I can't figure out why he wants to be friends SO BADLY because none other of my girl friends would make random/attention getting conversation when we hardly know each other.
He has friends, so it is not like he's needy for a friend. I have not gone out of my way to be his friend, either.
Also, on facebook, he is interested only in men...no one would have inhibitions about admitting their interest in women (that's my argument to those who believe he must be bisexual).
Can anyone shed light on this?

Doubt that he's pursuing you sexually, sounds like you may be his trophy friend. If you were older, the gay community would refer to you as a FagHag if you liked to hang around gays and be the Queen Bee. No offense meant, at all! Lots of women are faghags and very happy being the center of attention with young, handsome men.

As my selection is to be gay,I do discover some women individuals perfect and that i entertain particular deviant fantasies each and every now and then.despite the indisputable fact that it does no longer replace my opportunities.that is a organic instinctive reaction and that i not in any respect supress something like that. That lady might want to might want to be a skinny tomboy form to capture my eye,yet they do exist.Ha!Ha!Dont be at a loss for words, purely roll with what comes evidently.Dont cover emotions or emotions.embody them because the magnificent presents we are given. Hugs!

Haven't you ever flirted with someone just for the fun of it? He is flirting because he enjoys it and enjoys the attention from an attractive female. Maybe even fantasizes about what it would be like.

If he is really attracted to you then most likely he is not gay. If he is gay then maybe he just likes you. Nothing wrong with that. Just be friendly and enjoy his friendship and soon you will have the answer to your confusion. Don't try to push for either one or the other. Just wait and see.

It sounds like you have hit the nail on the head. He may alsohave intentions of eventually marrying for children and than split.
Or he may not be 100% sur eand wantrs to experiment.
It also be that you are so darn good looking(which is likely) that he can't stay away from you.

He wants to be your girlfriend-friend, not your romantic lover. Go shopping with him or go get a pedicure together and see what happens.
