It's not unusual, because I went through a similar experience. I sing alto in my church choir, but this year I began singing soprano in my A Cappella Choir.

Huh, as I got older, I went from 2nd soprano to alto to 2nd alto. I can even sing some guy songs. (I do karaoke) So, that is odd.

No it is not unusual! Im 13 and last year i could hit a high G but now i can barely hit a high C! but then agian im a guy but that really doesnt make a difference.
