Today while i was out on lunch break, i was not feeling well, and i literally passed out, hit my head, and now i have a major concussion. I went home when that happend. But i forgot that i had a presentatiion today. I am known for being on time and prepared, but i dont think my teacher will believe me. He is incredibly sckeptical, is there any way i can convince him that it is the truth? Please help!

I would go back to the doctor that told you that you had a concussion and have him/her write you a doctor's note. Concussions (major or minor) are a very serious medical condition and if your doctor diagnosed you as having one then your teacher is definitely going to believe you after reading the doctor's note. Without the note the teacher is going to assume that you just think you had a concussion and probably not believe you. Also the school would have a record of you going to the emergency as concussions are not to be taken likely and the school could be deemed liable if they did not follow through on getting you to the hospital to be checked out even if it happened during your lunch break. Don't worry, between your doctor's note and the school's followup on you passing out, I'm sure the teacher will not fault you this time. I really hope that you do follow the doctor's orders regarding being awoken every hour during your sleep time very seriously as you could suffer bad consequences if you sleep straight through the night. The tests that the doctor's office or hospital did on you should be able to help you figure out just why you passed out. Good Luck with everything and please take care of yourself.

if you passed out like that and you really think you have a concussion, you should have gone to the hospital!! i had a concussion last summer, and i went to the hospital and got a cat scan to make sure there was no bleeding in my brain. my sister had one years ago and had to spend the night in the hospital. if it was that bad of a head injusy, the hospital should be a good enough excuse. if not, screw your teacher and tell someone ahead of him that you were not excused!

If you can fall on your pattern of good behavior, and try to cram it in, then, maybe you can get by. Have your parents help.

have your parent write a note excusing you .. we have to get an admit at my school...
